Sea Creatures Pixel Art Activity
Mixed Grammar Review freebie

fun and Engaging

Pixel art activities are fun and engaging for students. Your students will be asking to complete pixel art activities over and over again. To hear students laughing and having fun while learning is music to the ears. They love watching the picture slowly emerge with each correct answer. The kiddos often try to figure out the picture before the assignment is complete.

If you’d like to try pixel art with your kiddos, simply scroll down and sign up to receive this resource for free. You will get the digital link for Google, the printable version, and the grammar reference guide. Want more pixel art activities? Check out my store for a lot more pixel art activities.

Digital Pixel Art

This fun Google activity is easy to assign to your kiddos. With a few simple clicks, they are having fun learning.

Students read each sentence and then answer questions related to the sentence. As each correct answer is typed in the answer column, parts of a picture begin to appear. Students are excited to see the mystery picture revealed.

Please note this can only be used in Google. The resource does not work with Excel or Microsoft Teams. The questions are not editable.

An answer key is also provided.

Printable Pixel ARt

If your students don’t have access to a computer, no worries! This Google Sheet activity includes a printable format. This fun resource includes 5 sentences with 4 questions each.

This is a fun way to review grammar skills. This resource can be used whole group, independently, in a small group, as test prep, and tons more. The options are endless!

When they are done with answering the questions, your kiddos can get creative and color in the clipart that is included. Not sure about your kiddos, but my 4th graders were always looking to color something. They love it!

Grammar Reference Guide

This fun freebie also includes 5 pages of grammar skills. If your students get stuck on a problem, they can pull this reference guide out to help them with answering questions.

The reference guide includes all of the common grammar skills that students will encounter while working through the pixel art activity.

Simply print and have your kiddos keep tucked away in a folder or binder for future reference.

What teachers are saying...

What fun this was! My kiddos were engaged and excited. Such a fun way to practice skills we are learning- far better than a workbook! So many good ideas here.

My students really enjoyed this activity. It was great for the students to get practice reviewing grammar and be able to reveal a picture. It was nice for the students to be able to have a very colorful activity instead of a black and white worksheet!
